We change a WO status to "closed" when we get paid. We get paid for roughly +200 WO a week all at one time. Right now, I have to open each WO individually to do this. On a good day it take 37 secs per WO - so 1.5 to 2 hours just to do this. I would like to generate a list or report that would like a WO's status and let me change that status without opening the WO. It would save a tremendous amount of time (and frustration)
Hi Nancy, it sounds like you’re looking to update multiple work order statuses at once (rather than work order stages like Unassigned, Assigned, Completed, or Closed).
In the Status Report, you can filter by specific work order types, choose which statuses are included/excluded, and specify the work order stage (for example, Completed or Closed). This will generate a list of work orders that meet your criteria and you can update statuses directly on the list without opening each work order individually.
