Most of our workorders can be built a week or more in advance, but some last minute tweaks are almost always needed. If we add crew to the work order, they can see it. Need the ability to shield the upcoming work orders from crew for distraction reasons and if some thing gets changed late in the day the crew isn't confused.
It kind of exists, we want to limit when tomorrows work can be seen. this apears to be a new work/start the day@ daily kind of thing. Can you clarify? I need the ability to load work orders a week or more in advance (probably shift them around three times, and change the crew multiple times) and the crew only sees tomorrows work at 4pm the day before when we have finally settled on the details. This allows for less confusion from my planner type workers who want to know where they are tomorrow and will get ahead of the work at hand. Also keeps my avoidance type workers from seeing a job they might want to do and calling in sick.
Hi Jason, good news! This is already available today in Employee Configuration settings here: https://app.bolttech.net/company/employees.
The time you enter controls when crews can see new work orders for that day. They’ll still see any older work that’s open (not completed or closed) and then today’s work will show up after the time you specify. You can still schedule work out into the future, it just won’t populate on their phone until that release time.
