Enhancement Suggestion: Additional Calendar & Scheduling Views

Feature Enhancement: Expand Bolt's Scheduling Hub with Multiple Calendar Views

Bolt already has a great scheduling foundation. My suggestion isn't to change how scheduling works—it's to give users more ways to visualize the same data.

Every role in a construction company views a schedule differently. An owner, dispatcher, project manager, superintendent, and field foreman all need different perspectives, even though they're looking at the same schedule.

Imagine if Bolt allowed users to instantly switch between multiple scheduling views without entering any additional information:

  • 📊 Gantt View – Project timelines, dependencies, and critical path.

  • 📅 Calendar View – Daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling.

  • 👷 Crew & Resource View – Employee, crew, equipment, and vehicle scheduling.

  • 📋 Job Progress (Kanban) View – Scheduled → In Progress → Inspection → Punch → Complete.

  • 🏗️ Project Timeline View – Major milestones for each individual project.

  • 🗺️ Map View – Active jobs and crew locations.

  • 📈 Executive Dashboard – Workload, active projects, upcoming starts, delayed jobs, and resource utilization.

The important part is that all of these views would display the same scheduling data. Users could simply choose the view that best fits their role instead of maintaining separate schedules.

This enhancement would benefit every construction trade—not just drywall contractors—including framing, concrete, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, painting, flooring, landscaping, and general contractors.

I believe this would make Bolt's scheduling system even more powerful by improving visibility, planning, communication, and decision-making across the entire organization without changing the core scheduling workflow.

One schedule. Multiple views. Better decisions.
